Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2024 – Rule 22[1]The Claimant’s claim was issued in the London South Employment Tribunal on 14 December 2022.[2]The Respondent has failed to present a valid response on time upon the expiry of the time limit in Rule 17 of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2024 (the ET Rules).[3]The Employment Judge has decided that, pursuant to Rule 22(2) of the ET Rules, a determination can properly be made of the claim on the available material, and finds that the Claimant was unfairly dismissed by the Respondent on 17 September 2022.[4]The Tribunal will proceed to list a hearing to determine the appropriate remedy for that claim.
