JUDGMENT

The claim is dismissed as there are no sums due to the claimant and he does not seek to pursue any other claims.

REASONS

[1]The claimant was employed as a part-time bar employee from 15 July 2018 to 31 August 2021. During the Covid 19 shutdown he was placed in the furlough scheme. Thereafter, he was underpaid wages due to him. On the lease of the bar being transferred, the respondent agreed the sums due to among others the claimant [19]. In his case it was £5316.68. This sum was paid to him in two cheques of £2658.34 [23 and 25].[2]On 16 November 2021, EJ Abbott made a number of standard orders none of which the claimant complied with. In particular, he did not inform the Tribunal of any sum still due to him.[3]The Tribunal concluded that there was no sum due to the claimant in respect of his wages and that he did not seek to pursue any other claim.[4]In these circumstances, the claim falls to be dismissed. 1 of 2 Case Number: 2304685/2021
