Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 This was a remote hearing on the papers and held by telephone, which was not objected to by the parties. A face to face hearing was not held because it was not practicable and the issues in this case as to quantum could be determined in a remote hearing. The tribunal was not referred to any documents save for a detailed schedule of loss provided by the Claimant which was dated the 2 July 2020.[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £172.41[4]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1272.55
