JUDGMENT

[1]The respondent made unauthorized deductions from the claimant’s wages from 1 June to 5 July 2019 contrary to section 13 Employment Rights Act 1996 in the sum of £3,013. This sum is awarded gross.[2]The claimant was contractually entitled to one week’s notice of termination.[3]The respondent wrongfully dismissed the claimant.[4]The respondent shall pay the claimant the sum of £444.96 in respect of breach of contract. This sum is awarded net.[5]The respondent shall pay the claimant 10 days holiday pay under regulation 14 Working Time Regulations 1998, being £1,120. This sum is awarded gross.[6]The respondent failed to provide the claimant with a statement of employment particulars in compliance with section 1 Employment Rights Act 1996.[7]It is just and equitable to increase the award made to the claimant by the higher amount being four weeks pay pursuant to section 38 Employment Act 2002, being £2,100.[8]Accordingly, the total that the respondent shall pay to the claimant under this judgment is £6677.96.
