JUDGMENT

[1]The correct respondent in this matter is registered company number 11804741. It not having been possible to establish which of the two respondents is the correct current name for that company, judgment in this matter is given against both respondents (one of which will not be a legal entity and against whom judgment will not be enforced).[2]The claimant’s claim for unfair dismissal is successful. The respondents are ordered to pay the sum of £1,871.40 in respect of basic award and £14,783.12 in respect of the compensatory award, a total of £16,654.52. Payment of the arrears of pay to the date of the hearing (the prescribed element) being £13,073.76 for the period 28 April 2020 to 27 April 2021 shall be stayed until the Secretary of State has served on the respondents a recoupment notice in respect of Universal Credit received by the claimant or has notified the respondents that it does not intend to serve such notice. Payment of the remaining sum of £3,580.76 shall be paid by the respondents to the claimant by 11 May 2021.[3]The claimant’s claim for wrongful dismissal is successful. The respondents shall pay to the claimant the sum of £1,089.48 by 11 May 2021.[4]The claimant’s claim for unauthorised deductions from wages is successful.
