Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the London South Employment Tribunals on 16 June 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £11,790, calculated as follows: The claimant was 28 years old what she was made redundant, and she had worked for the respondent for 14 years. She is therefore entitled to 20 weeks’ pay at £589.50 per week.[3]The respondent must pay the claimant £11,790 in total.
