JUDGMENT
[1]The claim was issued in the London South Employment Tribunal on 16 June 2023 and the Respondent has failed to present a valid response on time.[2]I am satisfied that a determination of the claim, or part of it, can properly be made in accordance with Rule 21 of The Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 (as amended).[3]The Claimant was entitled to a redundancy payment of £2,829.20 as she was dismissed by reason of redundancy. The amount is calculated as follows: The Claimant was 28 years old when she was made redundant and had 7 years’ service with the Respondent. She is entitled to 6.5 weeks’ pay at the rate of £436.80 per week.[4]The Respondent must pay the Claimant the total of £2,839.20 forthwith.
