JUDGMENT
[1]The correct name of the respondent is El Shams Cuisine Limited.[2]The respondent has made an unlawful deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the net sum of £216.12, in respect of the amount unlawfully deducted.[3]The respondent has made an unlawful deduction from the claimant’s wages in respect of holiday pay and is ordered to pay the claimant the net sum of £105.99, in respect of the amount unlawfully deducted.[4]The respondent failed to provide the claimant with a written statement of terms and conditions in accordance with section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. The respondent is therefore ordered to pay the claimant a sum equivalent to four weeks’ wages, namely £1,118. This payment is not subject to deductions for tax and national Insurance.
