Employment Judge McLarenIn person for claimantDate 20 December 2023

JUDGMENT

The complaint of Unfair Dismissal is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 15 June 2021 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of Unfair Dismissal should not be struck out because The claimant did not have the qualifying two years’ service under section 108 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 or any exceptional circumstances that provide for an exemption to the qualifying service period.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of Unfair Dismissal is therefore struck out.[3]This judgment should be read alongside the judgement of Legal Officer Goatham dated 14 October 2022. The claimants remaining claims continue and will be heard on the hearing listed for 18, 19, 20 and 21 December 2023. _____________________________ Employment Judge McLaren 14 October 2022 Case No: 2302017/2021 EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS Claimant: Ms A Ayinde Respondent: 1) Ms L Lucas 2) Kings College London Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care Heard at: London South On: 18, 19 and 20 December 2023 Before: Employment Judge Heath Ms A Boyce Mr P Adkins Representation Claimant: In person First Respondent: Mr A Williams (Consultant)
