Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £2,800 (gross).[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £2,808.09 (gross).[3]The resp has also failed to provide a written statement of initial employment particulars and is ordered to pay the sum of £1,400 (2 weeks pay) to the claimant. _____________________________ Employment Judge Andrews Date: 15 December 2021[1]The claim form in this matter were served by post on the respondent at its registered office on 11 June 2021 together with a notice of a claim that informed the respondent that if it wished to defend the claim it must complete the response form and submit it to the tribunal office by 9 July 2021 and that if that was not done, judgment may be issued against it.[2]No such response was filed and accordingly a judgment pursuant to rule 21 of the Employment Tribunal rules was prepared and issued in the sums claimed by the claimant.
