REASONS

[1]The claim was listed for a full hearing by letter sent to the parties dated 31 July 2019. The hearing was due to commence at 10 am today.[2]The Respondent had not entered a Response to the Claim and did not attend today’s hearing.[3]By 10 am the Claimant had not attended or contacted the Tribunal to explain her non-attendance.[4]After the usual checks it was clear that the Claimant was not in the building.[5]The Claimant did not respond to an answerphone message to her mobile phone made by the Tribunal clerk enquiring as to her non-attendance.[6]By 11 am the Claimant was still not present.[7]In the circumstances I have dismissed the claim under rule 47 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution & Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013.
