JUDGMENT

The claims are dismissed upon withdrawal.

REASONS

[1]The hearing today had been listed to consider whether any of the claims should be struck out or a deposit order made, and to clarify the remaining issues.[2]At the commencement of the hearing the Claimant indicated that he wanted to withdraw all his claims as he could not afford representation. I explained to him that the employment tribunal is used to dealing with unrepresented parties and that if he went ahead the tribunal would have a duty to assist him to present his case. The Claimant stated that he had decided to withdraw his claims as it would cause him too much stress and anxiety to proceed, and that he did not wish to represent himself. He had clearly given the matter some thought and was resolved that withdrawal was the best option for him.[3]No application being made by the Respondent, I indicated that a Judgment would be issued dismissing the claims upon withdrawal.[4]The hearing listed for 12-14 September 2018 will be vacated.
