JUDGMENT

[1]No response having been filed and an application to extend time to file a response having been unsuccessful, judgment is issued in default in respect of liability only in the Claimant’s claims for unfair dismissal, notice pay and unlawful deductions from wages.[2]The Claimant is awarded £8,638.82 in respect of the claim for unfair dismissal, comprising basic award of £5,427.66, compensatory award of £1,483.39 and ACAS uplift at 25% of £1,727.77.[3]The Claimant is awarded nil in respect of notice pay, the period having already been compensated in the unfair dismissal claim.[4]The Claimant is awarded £2,510.75 in respect of unlawful deductions from wages for the periods 27 January 2020 to 21 February 2020 and 24 February 2020 to 4 March 2020. This is a gross amount and subject to deductions for tax and national insurance.
