JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent made unauthorised deductions from wages by deducting the sum of £629.22 from the Claimant’s final payslip and is ordered to pay the Claimant that sum, being the total net sum which was deducted without authorisation.[2]The Respondent made unauthorised deductions from wages by failing to pay the Claimant the sum of £96.35 in respect of statutory sick pay in January 2022 and is ordered to pay the Claimant that sum.[3]At the time these proceedings were begun the Respondent was in breach of its duty to provide the Claimant with a written statement of employment particulars pursuant to s.1 Employment Rights Act 1996. There are no exceptional circumstances that would make it unjust or inequitable to make the minimum award of two weeks’ pay pursuant to s.38 Employment Rights Act 2002 and it is just and equitable to make an award of two weeks’ pay. The Respondent shall therefore pay the Claimant £918.46, being two weeks’ pay.
