JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant’s claim for unfair dismissal is well-founded. The claimant was unfairly dismissed.[2]The claimant’s claim for breach of contract is dismissed upon withdrawal.[1]The respondent is to pay no money to the claimant in respect of a basic award, having given credit for an ex gratia payment.[2]The respondent is to pay to the claimant the sum of £18,000 in respect of the compensatory award, comprising £17,500 in respect of lost earnings and £500 in respect of loss of statutory rights.[3]The respondent is to pay to the claimant the sum of £7,000 in respect of legal costs incurred by the claimant.
