JUDGMENT
(1) The case was listed for Hearing in London South today. It had been transferred from Ashford Employment tribunal. The parties were notified by email on 4 November. A Tribunal clerk attempted to contact the claimant this morning without success.(2) The Tribunal decided to exercise its power in Rule 47 of the Employment Tribunals Regulations 2013 and proceed in the absence of a party.(3) The Tribunal heard evidence from Mr Gallifant for the respondent and was taken to a bundle of documents. Mr Fuller also produced a written skeleton/submission.(4) The Tribunal dismissed the claims for Unfair Dismissal and Unauthorised deductions The Tribunal did not have jurisdiction to hear an ordinary unfair dismissal claim because the claimant did not have 2 years qualifying service. Regarding the unauthorised deductions claims, the Tribunal was satisfied based on the evidence before it, that the deductions were lawful and there were no sums due to the claimant. 1 of 2 Case Number: 2301536 /2019 1.1
