Mr C W Dunks v Halcyon Group: 2301309/2024

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2301309/2024
Mr Carl Walton DunksClaimantHalcyon GroupRespondent
Employment Judge FowellDate 15 March 2024

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out because it has no reasonable prospects of success.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 29 January 2024 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out, on the basis that he did not have the necessary two years’ service to bring a claim of unfair dismissal and hence the claim had no reasonable prospect of success.[2]The claimant has failed to make sufficient representations as to why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing on 5 and 9 August 2024 will not now take place.
