Mrs L Maugham v All Signs Solutions Ltd (04675840): 2300916/2021
JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent has not filed a response to this claim and did not attend the hearing.[2]The claim was issued out of time (i.e. beyond the time limit for making a claim).[3]Having considered submissions from the Claimant, I am satisfied that she issued her claim as soon as was reasonably practicable after the expiry of the time limit and that, therefore, her claim can continue.[4]As the Respondent has not complied with Rule 21 which requires a response from them, I am satisfied that summary judgment can be entered against the Respondent.[5]It is hereby ordered that the Respondent shall pay to the Claimant the sum of £9,275.00 for which the Claimant shall account to HMRC for any tax purposes.
