[1]The claimant’s complaints for unpaid wages/breach of contract in relation to unpaid salary for each of January, February, March and April 2024 and her complaint in relation to a statutory redundancy payment succeed.[2]A total award of £16,169.04 (net) is made, payable by the respondent to the claimant. This comprises:a. £1,400 (statutory redundancy payment calculated by multiplying the maximum week’s pay at the £700 rate applicable at the date of termination of the claimant’s employment (30 April 2024) x 2 complete years’ continuous employment); andb. £14,769.04 (being the claimant’s unpaid net salary for the months of January, February, March and April 2024 (£3,692.26 per month). Case No: 2221329/2024[3]The respondent has already accounted for tax and national insurance contributions and pension contributions in relation to the unpaid salary.
