JUDGMENT

[1]The claim is amended by joining Chrysalis Connect Limited as Fourth Respondent.[2]Re-service of the claim on the Fourth Respondent is dispensed with on the grounds that the claim has been served on the First and Third Respondents, who are directors of the Fourth Respondent, and they have not presented responses or communicated with the Tribunal.[3]The Claimant was engaged by the Fourth Respondent as a worker within the meaning of section 230(3)(b) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[4]The claims against the First, Second and Third Respondents are dismissed.[5]The complaint of unauthorised deduction of wages is well founded against the Fourth Respondent.[6]The Fourth Respondent shall pay to the Claimant the sum of £1,962.00. Case Number: 2221241/2024[7]The Fourth Respondent may deduct from the sum of £1,962.00 such income tax and national insurance contributions as may be due, in which case the Fourth Respondent shall pay the sums deducted to HMRC and confirm to the Claimant in writing that it has done so, with a calculation of the sums deducted.
