JUDGMENT
[1]The first claimant’s complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is wellfounded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the first claimant's wages in the period 1 May – 17 August 2023.[2]The respondent shall pay the first claimant £20,004.03, which is the gross sum deducted. The claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance.[3]The second claimant’s complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the second claimant's wages in the period 1 May – 31 July 2023.[4]The respondent shall pay the second claimant £17,499.99, which is the gross sum deducted. The second claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance. Case Numbers: 2216008/2023 and 2216009/2023
