JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent must pay the claimant the sum of £5219.82 net for unlawful deductions from wages in respect of the claimant’s salary for July and August 2023. The respondent must account to HMRC for tax and National Insurance payable on the gross salary.[2]The respondent must pay the claimant £220 for unlawful deductions from wages in respect of pension contributions not paid in July and August 2023.REASONS
[1]The claimant presented a claim form on 17 October 2023. The respondent has not presented a response although the hearing originally listed was postponed because it appeared the respondent might not have seen the claim form. It appears from the file that the respondent did receive Tribunal Case Number: 2215656/2023 correspondence in January 2024 but has not engaged further and did not attend the hearing today.[2]The claimant provided me with pay slips, which I was satisfied reflected the sums which were owed to her and had not been paid, and I accordingly gave judgment in those amounts.
