On hearing for the Claimant by video and with no ET3 or attendance from the Respondent:[1]The Claim for unlawful deduction of wages succeeds. The Respondent is ordered to pay the gross sum of £1,519.23 to the Claimant for unauthorised deductions of wages. The Claimant is requested to account for any tax to HMRC as appropriate.[2]The Claim for breach of contract succeeds. The Respondent is ordered to pay £211.15 to the Claimant for unpaid expenses outstanding upon termination of the Claimant’s employment with the Respondent.
