[1]The Claimant’s claims for unlawful deduction from wages and breach of contract are well founded and upheld and the Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the total sum of £1,526.18, this is calculated as follows: unlawful deduction from wages basic salary (1 June to 9 June 2023) - £1211.54 plus car allowance for May 2023 – £416.67 (deduction of £202.68 applied as this was paid to Claimant in July for tax rebate) Total, £1,425.53. breach of contract Expenses for travel to work and postage return - £100.65[2]The Claimant is responsible for any income tax or employee national insurance contributions that may be due on the sums awarded.
