JUDGMENT
The Tribunal orders the Respondent to pay £9,564.10 (gross) to the Claimant less any tax and NI due on this sum, for which it should account to HMRC.REASONS
(1) The Claimant was employed by the Respondent as its Head of IT between 1 August 2022 and 14 April 2023.(2) He was entitled to an annual salary of £40,000 payable monthly and to 28 days holiday each year.(3) At the time the Claimant left, the Respondent owed him salary pay from 1 February to 14 April 2023. This equated to £8,333 gross.(4) I calculated that the Claimant had 8 days holiday remaining on termination of his employment and should have been paid £ 1230.77 in lieu of this accrued but untaken holiday entitlement.
