JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent made an unlawful deduction from Claimant’s wages in relation to the period from 16 April 2022 to 25 May 2022 and is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £2,240 being the total gross sum deducted. The Respondent is entitled to make deductions for tax and National Insurance from this sum.[2]Pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002, the Respondent is ordered to pay the sum of £800 being two weeks gross pay for failure to provide a statement of employment particulars as required by section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
