JUDGMENT

[1]The respondent made unlawful deductions from the claimant’s wages as set out below, which the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant on net basis, without deduction of tax:a. in respect of his basic pay for the period from 1 to 30 July 2018, £1,551.25b. in respect of his July ‘tronc’ payment, £320c. in respect of unpaid wages for 1 to 7 August 2018, £431.83d. in respect of 4 days, or 0.8 weeks’ accrued but untaken holiday, £345.46[2]The respondent breached the claimant’s employment by failing to give him Case Number 2206708/2018 2 weeks’ notice of termination of his employment. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant £863.66, without deduction of tax.[3]The total award (1 and 2) is therefore £3,512.20 net, with no deduction for taxes.
