JUDGMENT

[1]The respondent breached the claimant’s contract of employment by failing to give him four weeks’ notice of dismissal. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant £1,735.96, net, without deduction of tax.[2]The respondent made unlawful deductions from the claimant’s wages as set out below, which the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant on net basis, without deduction of tax:a. in respect of his net July ‘tronc’ payment, £320b. in respect of his net pay for 1 to 8 August 2018, including a tronc entitlement, £433.39 Case Number 2206435/2018c. in respect of 15 days, or three weeks’ accrued but untaken holiday, £1,301.97d. in respect of unpaid pension contributions between January and August 2018, £615.44.[3]The total award (1 and 2) is therefore £4,407.36 net, with no deduction for taxes.
