JUDGMENT
[1]The Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to hear the Claimant’s claim of unfair dismissal as the Claimant does not have the qualifying period of employment of 2 years as required by section 108 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. The claim is therefore dismissed.[2]The Respondent made an unlawful deduction from the Claimant’s wages in relation to the period of June 2021 and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £2,000 being the total gross sum deducted. The Respondent is entitled to make this payment after deductions for income tax and national insurance.[3]The respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant additional compensation of £21.82 for financial loss attributable to the unauthorised deduction from wages in June 2021.
