[1]The claim for one week’s unpaid wages is upheld and the claimant is awarded £768 net pay.[2]The claim for two weeks’ notice is upheld and the claimant is awarded £1536 net pay.[3]The claimant was unfairly dismissed. He is awarded for his unfair dismissal a compensatory award of £8448 (11 weeks’ loss of earnings following the two week notice period). (On reconsideration, he is not entitled to a basic award as I first thought, because he does not have one year’s service.) .[4]The recoupment regulations do not apply.
