JUDGMENT
This has been a remote hearing. The parties did not object to the case being heard remotely. The form of remote hearing was V – video, conducted using Cloud Video Platform (CVP). It was not practicable to hold a face to face hearing because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is adjudged that:(1) The Claim Form is formally amended so that the Respondent is Gordon Yates Limited.(2) The Respondent is granted an extension of time to today, 11 February 2021, in which to present the Response Form and accordingly, the Response is accepted.(3) The Respondent is in breach of contract by not paying the Claimant redundancy pay.(4) The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the net sum of £3,750 being damages for the breach of contract.
