[1]No response having presented within time, and the Respondent having indicated by email that it does not defend the claim, default judgment in the Claimant’s favour is entered.[2]The Claimant’s claim of unlawful deductions from wages accordingly succeeds.[3]Having heard evidence from the Claimant and having reviewed the Respondent’s written submissions, the Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £902, as follows:a. £788, being 98.5 hours’ pay at £8, to be paid less any applicable deductions; andb. £114 by way of preparation time order (three hours at £38 per hour).
