JUDGMENT
On hearing Mr B Holland, a solicitor acting pro bono, on behalf of the Claimant and there being no appearance or representation by or on behalf of the Respondent, the Tribunal determines that:(1) The Claimant’s complaint of wrongful dismissal is well-founded and the Respondent is ordered to pay to him therefore damages (representing 11 weeks’ net pay) of £1,320.00.(2) The Claimant’s complaint of unfair dismissal is well-founded and the Respondent is ordered to pay him compensation calculated as follows: Basic Award: 16.5 x £120 £1,980.00 Compensatory Award: Loss of earnings: 26 x £120 £3,120.00 Lost statutory rights: £ 250.00 ACAS uplift (25%): £ 842.50 £4,212.50 £6,192.50(3) Accordingly, the total sum payable to the Claimant is £7,512.50.(4) The recoupment provisions do not apply.
