The Respondent must pay the Claimant £4.293.33 by 14/10/2020REASONS
[1]I heard received representations on behalf of the Claimant and have read various documents I was sent by the Claimant including a skeleton argument.[2]The Claimant was employed as a head chef from 1/2/2020 at the rate of £11.50 per hour[3]The business closed on 23/3/2020 but the Claimants employment was not ended until 5/6/2020 when he resigned[4]He should have been paid but was not paid wages from 01/03/2020 to 03/06/2020 = £3,389.37 net, 2 weeks notice. £521.44 net, Holiday Pay – 7 days (gross). £282.52 and short wages from February 2020 £100.00 = Total: £4.293.33 The hearing took place over CVP. The tribunal considered it as just and equitable to conduct the hearing in this way. In accordance with Rule 46, the tribunal ensured that members of the public could attended and observe the hearing. This was done via a notice published on Courtserve.net. From a technical perspective, there were no difficulties. No requests were made by any members of the public to inspect any witness statements or for any other written materials before the tribunal.
