[1]By email dated 6 July 2020 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to write by 4pm on 13 July 2020 to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because• the claimant had not complied with case management orders. (The Claimant did not comply with orders 2.1, 3.3,4.1 and4.2 issued following the hearing dated 19 May 2020.)• the claim has not been actively pursued. (The Claimant did not attend the hearing on 19 May 2020 and did not answer his phone when called by the judge that day, who left a voicemail. He has not written to the tribunal or to the respondent since then to explain his absence or to comply with directions or at all. One of those directions was to write to confirm if he intended to pursue the claim.)[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, as to why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.
