It is the judgment of the Tribunal that, in accordance with Rule 47 of the ETs (Constitution & Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, the Claimant's claim of unfair dismissal is dismissed.REASONS
[1]This claim had been listed today for a substantive hearing.[2]Both the Claimant and his representative, Mr Percival, of the Claimant's Union, had failed to attend. 2. Both the Tribunal and the solicitor representing the Respondent had sent an email to Mr Percival enquiring as to his and the Claimant's whereabouts but there had been no response.[3]The Tribunal had also attempted to call both the Claimant and Mr Percival on the phone but there had been no answer.
