REASONS
The Respondent has admitted in paragraph 6 of its Grounds of Resistance that the above judgment sum was due and payable to the Claimant by 20/1/2020, and the sum remains unpaid. NOTES This is an interim judgment entered on a partial admission and it does not compromise the balance of the claim (for £48725 plus any uplift on the whole or any amount of the original claim) which remains in dispute and is proceeding to trial. The hearing was held over CVP. The tribunal considered it as just and equitable to conduct the hearing in this way. In accordance with Rule 46, the tribunal ensured that members of the public could attended and observe the hearing. This was done via a notice published on Courtserve.net. Two members of the public attended. The parties were able to hear what the tribunal heard and saw.From a technical perspective, there were no difficulties. No requests were made by any members of the public to inspect any witness statements or for any other written materials before the tribunal.
