Mrs V Ionichi v Mida Bros Ltd: 2202067/2025
REASONS
[1]The Claimant worked for the Respondent as a Pizza Chef from 2 October 2024 until 9 December 2024, after completing one week’s contractual notice, after having resigned. The Respondent has not entered a response to this claim.[2]The Tribunal had before it the Claimant’s employment contract and payslips for October and November 2024. The Claimant gave evidence on oath.[3]The Claimant was paid £2,226.84 net for October 2024, but this payment was made late. She was not paid for her November payslip, showing £2,625.00 gross and £2,183.64 net of deductions. She has tried to contact the Respondent by phone and messaging but has had no response. She went to the restaurant in January to seek the Respondent, but it was closed. Conclusion:[7]The Tribunal was satisfied, on all the evidence before it, that the Claimant had not been paid for her November 2024 payslip nor the one week’s notice which she worked, as per her contract, and was therefore owed both the payslip net amount of £2,183.64 plus £546.00 net notice pay. Judgment is given accordingly. Signed: Employment Judge A Stewart
