[1]The name of the Respondent is altered so it reads as above.[2]The Respondent must pay the Claimant £2007.94 as shown in the Schedule by 14/7/21.[3]The sum is gross of tax and NI contributions and the Claimant is responsible for accounting to HMRC for any such liabilities on the sum.REASONS
[1]The hearing was held remotely by video. There were no technical problems. I heard evidence from the Claimant. There was no ET3 or appearance by the Respondent. I proceeded under Rule 21.[2]The Claimant worked for the Respondent in November and December 2020. She was told she would be paid the minimum wage and re-imbursed for a key which she had cut for work. She was not paid anything. She is due the sum shown below. Schedule (£8.72 (minimum wage) per hour x 8 hours a day = £69.76 per day) 5 days worked during the period 2/11-6/11 = £348.80 8 days worked during the period 9/11-19/11 = £558.08 15 days worked during the period 23/11-23/12 = £1046.40 Extra hours one day 10/12/20 £32.86 Key cut £21 Total £2007.94 2201779 2021 Note The company is shown at Companies House as – “active proposal to strike off”.
