JUDGMENT
The unanimous Judgment of the Tribunal is as follows:[1]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant a basic award of £1,096.14 in respect of his unfair dismissal claim.[2]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant a compensatory award of £8,419.59 in respect of his unfair dismissal claim.[3]The claim for disability discrimination fails and is dismissed.[4]The claim for wrongful dismissal succeeds. The Claimant should have been paid 4 weeks notice but was only paid 2 weeks notice. No additional compensation is awarded for wrongful dismissal however, as the losses covered by the compensatory award for unfair dismissal and the Tribunal cannot order double recovery of compensation for the same period.
