Miss DN Hamilton v Hogarth Underwriting Agencies Ltd: 2201708/2017
JUDGMENT
[1]The claim for notice pay is upheld. She was entitled to 3 months’ notice.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1576.09 (2.86 weeks out of work x £551.08 net pay/week).[3]The appropriate government office will be informed that the claimant applied for her tribunal fees to be repaid by the respondent, but that such order has not been made in expectation that the claimant will now be reimbursed her fee directly by the government.[4]If, for a completely unforeseeable reason, the government does not repay the claimant’s tribunal fees, she may apply to the tribunal for an order that they are paid instead by the respondent.
