JUDGMENT

The judgment of the Tribunal is that the complaint of unlawful deduction from wages is well founded. The Respondent shall pay to the Claimant compensation of £2,551.99 net.

REASONS

[1]Miss Malla makes a complaint of unlawful deduction from wages. She gave evidence in support of her claim, and I accepted what she told me. Miss Malla referred to her payslip for January 2023, which showed a total of £1,001.57 net due to her. She stated that this remain unpaid.[2]Miss Malla also referred to her payslips from 2022, which showed employers’ pension contributions of £1,550.42. She stated that she had contacted the pension provider and had been informed that no contributions had been paid. There was correspondence to that effect from Aviva in the documents before me.[3]The award of compensation is therefore calculated as £1,001.57 + £1,550.42 = £2,551.99. Case Number: 2201652/2023
