Upon the Claimant’s Claim Form, presented on 30th January 2024, being sent to the Respondent on 27th February 2024; And upon the Respondent failing to file a Response Form to the Claimant’s claim by 26th March 2024; And upon the Respondent being sent a Notice of Hearing for today dated 1st March January 2024 to its address at Dog & Duck Yard, Greenworks, Princeton Street, London, WC1R 4BH; And upon the Respondent failing to attend this hearing; And upon hearing the Claimant give evidence under Oath: The Judgment of the Tribunal is that: Claim No. 2201482/2024 Judgment[1]The Claimant’s claim for notice pay succeeds, in the sum of £16,112.76.REASONS
[2]By Clause 3.1 of the Claimant’s contract of employment dated 21st March 2022 the Claimant was entitled to three months’ notice of the termination of his employment. The Respondent summarily dismissed the Claimant on 1st December 2023.[3]The Claimant’s net monthly pay amounted to £5,370.92. The Claimant is entitled to three month’s notice, in the sum of £16,112.76.
