Mr S Newman v Serco Ltd: 2201326/2021

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2201326/2021
Mr S NewmanClaimantSerco LimitedRespondent
Employment Judge E BurnsDate 2 September 2021

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 13 June 2022 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because it has not been actively pursued. The letter gave the claimant a deadline to reply of 20 June 2022.[2]The tribunal listed a hearing on 8 August 2022 so that the claimant’s objection to the claim being struck out could be considered, if he replied to the letter. 2. The claimant failed to respond to the letter by the deadline and as at today’s date the tribunal has received no response from him. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing on 8 August 2022 will now not take place.
