[1]On the claimant’s failure to attend this first day of the final hearing without notice or explanation or respond to the contact made today by this tribunal via telephone and email, and the tribunal having waited until after 2pm before resuming this hearing, the claims are dismissed under rule 47, Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013.[2]The respondent intimidated an application for costs but was not in a position to make such an application nor serve a schedule of costs today.
