Mr W Horkan v The British United Provident Association Ltd: 2200986/2021

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2200986/2021
Mr W HorkanClaimantThe British United Provident Association LimitedRespondent
Employment Judge IsaacsonDate 4 February 2022

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 25 January 2022 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because the claimant had not complied with the Order of the Tribunal dated 5 October 2021.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. Although the letter dated 25 January 2022 only gave the claimant 24 hours warning, the claimant was aware of the respondent’s application for an unless order since 17 December 2021 and their further application on 17 January 2022. To date the claimant has not made any written representations. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearings fixed for the 23 February 2022 will not take place. 04/02/2022
