[1]No response to the claim has been presented. This is despite, as well as the claim having been served by post, the tribunal having tried separately to contact the respondent on an email address provided by the claimant at the tribunal’s request.[2]Pursuant to Rule 21 of the Employment Tribunal Rules 2013, the claimant’s complaint of unlawful deduction from wages therefore succeeds.[3]An award of £6,173 (net), payable by the respondent to the claimant, is made in relation to the claimant’s outstanding unpaid wages.[4]The hearing set for 18 April 2023 is therefore vacated and will not take place. 18 April 2023
