JUDGMENT

[1]The judgment of the Tribunal is that the Respondent:(a) failed to pay the Claimant a statutory redundancy payment in the sum of £1,522.50, in breach of his rights under section 135 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;(b) made a series of unlawful deductions from his wages in the net sum of £3,143.27, contrary to his rights under section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[2]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant:(a) a redundancy payment in the net sum of £1,522.50; and(b) the net sum of £3,143.27, having accounted to HMRC for all tax and National Insurance contributions due on the gross sum, and also having ensured that all related employer and employee pension contributions have been accounted for and paid.
