JUDGMENT

Rule 22 Employment Tribunal Rules 2024 No response to the claim has been presented. The Claimant has brought claims in respect of unauthorised deductions from wages, holiday pay, and for an award pursuant to section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. Pursuant to Rule 22 of the Employment Tribunal Rules 2024, the judgment of the Tribunal is that:[1]the Claimant’s claims succeed and the Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the following sums:(i) the gross sum of £1,438 (being two weeks of pay applying the statutory cap) in respect of the failure to provide written particulars pursuant to section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;(ii) the net sum of £2,050 in respect of unauthorised deductions from the Claimant’s wages between 22 July 2024 and 13 September 2024;(iii) the net sum of £840 in respect of holiday pay for holiday accrued but not taken between 22 July 2024 and 13 September 2024.
