JUDGMENT

[1]The judgment of the Tribunal is that the Respondent:(a) made a series of unauthorised deductions from the Claimant’s wages, contrary to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996, in the net sum of £8,991.16 and in the gross sum of £500.00;(b) breached the Claimant’s contract by failing to reimburse him for expenses in the sum of £250.00.[2]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant the following amounts within the next 28 days:(a) the net sum of £8,991.16 and the net of the gross sum of £500.00, having accounted to HMRC for all tax and National Insurance contributions due on the gross sums, and also having ensured that all related employer and employee pension contributions have been accounted for and paid;(b) the sum of £250.00.
